Apply to Advanced Food Writing Workshop
This 10-week (2-hour interactive sessions) course is designed for published food writers who want to improve their skills as well as highly accomplished published writers in other genres who want to cross over into food writing. Submission of a sample food story is required for admittance to the workshop. The story may be published or unpublished — a feature, review (restaurant or cookbook), roundup or cooking story, 300 to 1,500 words.

To apply, please pay the $25 application fee, and email a writing sample to leslie@lesliebrenner.com. The writing sample may be a food feature, review, cooking story, essay or round-up, 350 to 1,500 words.
The fee for the Advanced Workshop is $1,000.
The $25 application fee will be applied to your $1,000 workshop fee if you are accepted. If you are not accepted in the Advanced Workshop, you will be offered a spot (subject to availability) in our Intermediate Workshop; if you wish to join that, your $25 application fee will be applied to the $1,000 workshop fee. Meets Tuesday 4 to 6 p.m. Central Time (2 to 4 p.m. PDT, 3 to 5 p.m. MDT, 5 to 7 p.m. EDT)
Limited to 10 students
10 weeks beginning April 12 through June 15
Course fee: $1,000, plus one-time $25 registration fee
Early registration special: $850 (registration fee waived) - apply before April 2
A writing sample is required with application (see above).
Note: If fewer than 5 students enroll, the course may be cancelled; if that is the case all fees paid, including registration fee, will be refunded in full.
