This 4-week (90-minute interactive sessions) course is designed for food writers with all levels of experience who want to hone their craft, write stories that jump off the page, become their own best editor and optimize their reach, engagement and effectiveness on Substack.

WORKSHOP DATES:

  • Weds. April 30, 2025, 5 p.m. CT

  • Weds. May 7, 2025, 5 p.m. CT

  • Weds. May 14, 2025, 5 p.m. CT

  • Weds. May 21, 2025, 5 p.m. CT

Paid subscribers to Leslie Brenner’s Cooks Without Borders Substack will receive 20% off (fee will be $480; use discount code MEMBER20 required to receive discount). Names will be checked against paid membership rolls; you must currently be a paid subscriber to enroll at the discounted rate.

No later than one week before for the first session ~ so Weds., April 21 ~ you’ll be required to email to the instructor the piece of writing you’ll want to workshop for distribution to the group.
